Earlier this month, Entrepreneur magazine announced their annual Franchise 500 list and named Cartridge World among the exclusive Top 100 franchises, joining the ranks of Subway, McDonalds, Supercuts and other global brands.

Opening its first store in the United States 12 years ago, Cartridge World has nearly 500 stores in North America today. The retailer provides ink and toner cartridges, printers, service and supplies for thousands of home and business customers. Unlike a superstore that sells a wide range of office supplies, Cartridge World carved a niche in the market by delivering innovative printing solutions.

“Every office prints dozens to hundreds of documents every day,” said Tom McLaughlin, Cartridge World’s Marketing Director. “Cartridge World store owners can show every customer, from a realtor to accounting firm to medical center, how to save hundreds to thousands of dollars when they print.”

“We’re completely objective when it comes to determining the right printers and supplies for your needs,” he added. “On average, we help customers save about 30 percent off their current cost of printing. Customers are amazed at how much they can save versus typical big box products.”

Cartridge World recently introduced a new “Bundled” printing solution for medium-sized businesses. This combines high-efficiency printers that use high-yield printer cartridges with a special service and maintenance contract. The goal is to simplify printing. The company will take care of everything for you – including fix or replace the printer within 24 hours if there’s ever a problem with the machine.

“We are honored to be on Entrepreneur’s Top 100 ranking for a second consecutive year,” states William Swanson, North American CEO and Global CFO of Cartridge World. “We’re also confident our new range of products and services will position our brand as a very attractive franchise opportunity.”
